LAKE HAVASU, Ariz. – A devastating incident occurred over the Fourth of July weekend as a 4-month-old baby succumbed to heat-related complications after a boating trip in Arizona. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office reported that the family was boating on Lake Havasu when the baby, identified as Tanna Rae Wroblewski, lost consciousness around 5:10 p.m. on Friday.
Extreme Heat Conditions
The area experienced record-breaking temperatures, reaching a scorching 120 degrees Fahrenheit, as per AccuWeather. An excessive heat warning was in effect, highlighting the dangerous conditions.
Following the emergency, Tanna was initially taken to Havasu Regional Medical Center and subsequently airlifted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Tragically, despite the medical efforts, the infant passed away shortly after arrival.

A GoFundMe page has been set up in memory of Tanna Rae Wroblewski. The page reads, “Our precious baby girl gave us her last smiles and we gave her our last kisses. We will never understand why you had to leave so soon, you were just too perfect.”
Tanna’s mother, Alyssa Wroblewski, posted a heartfelt tribute to her daughter on Facebook. However, the post quickly attracted criticism from the public. Commenters questioned the parents’ decision to take a baby out in extreme heat, calling it “extremely careless and irresponsible.”
One commenter expressed the collective sentiment: “I honestly can’t even find the words to express my feelings right now. This is just devastating. What were you thinking? There was an excessive heat warning that day. Extremely careless and irresponsible.”
