On June 13, Kendall Toole, a beloved Peloton instructor, announced via Instagram that she is leaving the company after nearly five years. In an emotional Instagram Reel, Kendall shared her decision, stating, “It’s with great consideration and many, many, many hours of reflection, that I am choosing to close my chapter at Peloton.” The video was simply captioned “THANK YOU.”

Kendall’s last class with Peloton will be on Saturday, June 29th. While she will no longer be teaching, her existing classes will remain available on-demand. Peloton clarified this in social media comments, ensuring fans that her classes will continue to be accessible, except for routine edits to the library.

In her farewell message, Kendall expressed deep gratitude to the Peloton community. “It’s been an absolute honor,” she said. “Thank you for riding with me, for sweating with me, for crying with me, for growing, for evolving.” She thanked the community for welcoming her into their homes and hearts, saying, “Thank you so much for letting me into your home, into your hearts, and many times, into the shadowy parts of your mind where it can sometimes get a little tough.”

Kendall also thanked Peloton for the incredible opportunity, saying, “Thank you Peloton, for this incredible life-changing opportunity. I will forever be grateful for this life experience and transformation.” She concluded her message with a hopeful note, stating, “This is more of a ‘I’ll see you in the next chapter’ kind of energy” and “Stay Tuned for What’s Next.”

Although Kendall has not yet detailed her future plans, she has hinted at several upcoming projects. She recently included links to her new website in some of her Instagram stories, where she promises to share “big news, updates, recipes, wellness, and more!” A few months ago, Kendall signed with the WME talent agency and teased collaborations, including a cooking project with Australian chef Dan Churchill and a potential project with Galey Alix from HGTV’s “Home in a Heartbeat.” Additionally, Kendall became a lululemon ambassador earlier this year as part of the five-year Peloton x lululemon partnership.

Kendall joined Peloton in September 2019, alongside Tunde Oyeneyin. Her first class went live on September 10, 2019, marking the start of her nearly five-year journey with the company, including training and onboarding. Her departure marks the second high-profile exit from Peloton in recent months; in April, instructor Ross Rayburn also announced he was leaving.

These changes come during a period of significant transformation for Peloton. At the beginning of May, it was announced that CEO Barry McCarthy was stepping down, and nearly 400 employees would be laid off. Peloton is also reducing the number of live member classes in London.

Kendall had hinted at an important announcement on June 13th, which turned out to be her departure. Fans wishing to participate in her last class can book it on the studio website starting Friday, June 14th at 3:00 p.m. ET.
