What does ‘productive’ mean ?
At some point in life, each of us feels the need to be more productive than others or the need to bring about change in our lives to achieve our goals. In the process of becoming more productive, we sometimes do things that result in zero productivity. It all starts from setting goals, which requires time—hours, days, months, and sometimes even years to achieve. But we often set unrealistic expectations, imagining that we will accomplish everything in just a few days or a week—like shaping our bodies, building abs, or losing weight.
Before being productive, we need to understand that productivity is achieved when we do things in a disciplined way and understand how much time it takes to accomplish any task. Being productive is not just about setting goals and daydreaming all day. Being productive means that when you hit the bed at night, you feel happy, tension-free, and sleepy.

Here are the top ways to achieve productivity in life:
- Wake up early : No matter when you went to bed at night. Waking up before sunrise and maintaining a habit of waking up without the need for an alarm is a healthy sign of productivity.
- Shower Routine : Take a shower every day, regardless of the weather conditions. Taking a shower every day makes our bodies feel fresh and gives us more energy.
- Eating habits : Eat less and eat healthy. Many people try to eat healthily but end up eating a lot, leading to laziness. The body needs time to digest food properly. Also, try to build a habit of not eating anything before completing your basic morning routine, like brushing your teeth and showering.
- Day-dreaming Problem : Stop daydreaming, Daydreaming is the biggest hurdle in life that stops us from being productive. Especially people in the 14-30 age group often spend their time daydreaming instead of doing necessary work.
- Take naps : Taking short naps often helps reduce stress, relax our bodies, and make our brains more active. Instead of scrolling through Instagram, take a nap and wake up feeling refreshed.
- Mirror View : Look at yourself in the mirror and talk to yourself about your goals. Tell yourself that you are rich and strong. Visualize the body you want to achieve. This small action triggers a feeling in your brain to do something, making you feel confident and motivated.
- Say no to do list : You don’t need to make a list of tasks to do; just make yourself aware of what needs to be done. You will manage your time better on your own.
- Try to be well-groomed : Wearing clean clothes makes you feel more confident and ready to tackle any tasks, whether indoors or outdoors.
- Learn to be Alone : Don’t wait for people who don’t treat you respectfully. Walk alone in the park, garden, or any place. Walk with confidence, with a straight posture. Observe your surroundings and tell yourself what you like and what you want to achieve. Tell yourself that you need to be successful—it’s a necessity.
- Say bye to shy : Don’t be shy when you are alone. Turn up the music volume and dance. Treat yourself like a hero. Imagine yourself as successful. Enjoy yourself and strengthen your mind.
All the above points relate to what makes a person more confident and focused on their goals. Confidence is the first step toward productivity. Without confidence, it’s extremely hard to become even a little bit social. To enjoy the true meaning of life, one needs to adopt confidence, which eventually leads to productivity, opens gates to success, and makes you and your loved ones happy and proud.
